Bring a list, or have Distill find companies and people matching your criteria. Distill finds and validates prospect email addresses and verifies in real time that each person is still in the right role at the right company.
Distill searches Google for each person and connects information from articles, interviews, podcasts, posts, and other sources. That research helps assess fit and inform personal outreach.
Network paths and shared connections
Put shared connections to work.
Ask for an introduction
Distill finds promising introduction paths and shows evidence of how people know each other. You approve introduction requests, and Distill handles the requests and follow up.
Illustrative relationship evidence
Connector and prospect worked at the same company
Overlapping work history suggests a possible relationship. Review the evidence before requesting an introduction.
Introduction not yet requested
Use shared context in direct outreach
Distill can also reference mutual connections in personal messages, including connections who are customers.
Illustrative connection and message
“Nice to see you already know Sean Smith, who I know through working with his company.”
Example context: Sean is a customer contact of the sender and a mutual connection with the prospect.
LinkedIn and email outreach
Two channels. One coordinated conversation.
Send a connect request with a personal note. Distill uses research to write in your voice and coordinates personalized messages and follow up across LinkedIn and email.
You can review messages before sending or let Distill send them. Wait times and follow up are configurable. A reply on either channel stops the outreach sequence across both.
If the prospect connects, Distill continues on LinkedIn and can follow up by email if there is no reply.
Sending infrastructure, included
When needed, Distill buys a dedicated sending domain, creates and warms sending mailboxes, and manages email deliverability practices.
Response handling and delegation
Choose who handles the conversation.
Tell Distill when to respond, when you want to step in, and when to delegate to someone on your team.
01
Let Distill handle it
The response team generally handles logistics, scheduling, and basic questions about your offering.
02
Step in yourself
Specify when you want to respond personally, or take over a conversation when you choose.
03
Delegate to your team
Following your instructions, teammates can reply as the sender to LinkedIn and email messages that are part of Distill’s outreach.
Human involvement
People involved where it matters.
Distill’s software and automation power the research and coordinated outreach. People help manage replies and improve the approach with you.
Response team
Reads incoming replies and responds on your behalf.
Follows your instructions about when you or a teammate should participate.
Account Strategist
Helps with strategy and audience accuracy.
Reviews performance and explains how responses compare with other outreach.
Recommends improvements to messaging and tactics, implements agreed changes, and keeps the work moving.
Getting started and customer controls
Set the direction. Stay in control.
Share who you want to reach, what you offer, and your reason to connect. Bring any existing prospect list and specify how replies and team delegation should work.
Review targeting and messaging before outreach begins. Change the approach or take over conversations whenever you choose.
Connect and prepare
LinkedIn
Connect your LinkedIn account during onboarding. The Chrome extension connects your identity and network.
Email
Connect email and complete sending setup when email is part of your campaign.

Provide a booking link or scheduling email so Distill can coordinate meetings. A connected calendar is optional.
