Vodka

A. Definition: (a) This product is obtained by the dilution of rectified ethyl alcohol which has been derived from natural materials, and which has been processed by a method which leaves it without a distinctive character, odor or taste.

(b) No artificial essences or colors may be added.

(c) The water used to dilute vodka to bottling strength should be potable, in accordance with Ecuadorian Standard 1,108, and may be demineralized, deionized, or distilled.

B. Specifications:
  (a) Appearance: Transparent and colorless.
  (b) Odor and taste: Having the odor and taste characteristic of vodka.
